Admission requirements
IR - International Relations (LM-52) is an international master’s degree program entirely taught in English with three interdisciplinary learning tracks and this is why it is open to applicants holding bachelor’s degrees in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Law, Commerce, Management, Business, Social Sciences, Communication and Foreign Languages.
In order to be admitted to IR, applicants must have acquired during the undergraduate degree program (bachelor's degree) the following number of credits (ECTS):
for the curriculum INTERNATIONAL POLITICS AND ECONOMIC RELATIONS (IPER):
- at least 6 credits (ECTS) in at least 2 of the following subject areas:
- Political - History and Philosophy
- Economics and Statistics
- Languages
for the curriculum INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC RELATIONS (IER):
- at least 12 credits (ECTS) in the Economics and Statistics area
- at least 6 credits (ECTS) in the Economics and Statistics area and at least 6 credits (ECTS) in one of the following subject areas:
- Political Science and Sociology
- Political - History and Philosophy
- Economics and Statistics
- Languages
for the curriculum INTERNATIONAL POLITICS (IP):
- at least 12 credits (ECTS) in the Political Science and Sociology area or in the Law area
or
- at least 6 credits (ECTS) in the Political Science and Sociology area and 6 credits (ECTS) in the Law area;
or
- at least 6 credits (ECTS) in the Political Science and Sociology area or in the Law area and 6 credits (ECTS) in one of the following subject areas:
- Political - History and Philosophy
- Economics and Statistics
- Languages
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Moreover, all applicants aiming to enrol the IR master’s degree program have to demonstrate their knowledge of English language (B2 level of the CEFR):
- by international language certificate - B2 level of the CEFR (Cambridge B2, TOEFL 87, IELTS 6.5, BULATS 75, Unicert level II, CLES 2, CET4 and so on), or
- being English native speakers, or
- being graduated in Bachelor’s degrees whose courses are taught in English, submitting the institutions' confirmations (es. Proficiency letter)
