On behalf of the interdisciplinary academic researchers, ‘Laboratorio Ghino Valenti’ (University of Macerata) will organize a workshop on ‘Circular Economy: Theoretical and Practical Dimensions of Interdisciplinarity’. The workshop invites contributions from various disciplines and will discuss theoretical items related to Circular Economics (CE) from a multidisciplinary perspective.

Circular Economy (CE) has assumed great importance within national and supranational government strategies aimed at the implementation of the environmental sustainability of economic processes like the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted at the United Nations and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.

The applicability of the policy generated by the CE must be evaluated with respect to the behavioural sphere of private operators and take into consideration the effects on the market and socio-economic organization, as well as the performance of the circular phenomenon and the degree of entropy within production systems.

Deadline for abstract submission: 31 July

Notification of acceptance: 1 September

Deadline for paper draft for circulation in advance of the workshop : 3 December

Language of paper presentation:  English or Italian

Organizers: Rosita Pretaroli, Stefano Spalletti, Ilaria Trapè
